Course Description

The major ambition of CHEM 433 is to present an integrated and transdisciplinary description of this emerging concept. The course aims to establish an understanding of the relevance of nanotechnology for biomedical science and engineering, layout the selection rules for engineering a nanomaterial for application as nanomedicine, describe the methods of fabricating the nanomedicine and their customization for various biomedical related applications, develop an understanding of the basis of the choice of material for biomedical applications, and highlights the challenges faced by the field of nanomedicine.
