I am interested in data mining and machine learning algorithms and
applications. My current research directions include text categorization and
clustering, deep learning, social media analytics, and causal analysis and
inference from observed data.
I direct the Knowledge and Data Engineering (KADE) Lab @ LUMS.
I am also working on assistive technologies for persons with disabilities.
On-going projects include ALAP for accessible math, graph, and PDF and
writing tools for dyslexic persons.
