Dr. Muhammad Tahir received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Politecnico di Torino in 2009 and 2013 respectively. During 2013, he was a research associate with the Navigation Signal Analysis and Simulation (NavSAS) group, ISMB. In June 2014, he joined Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) as an asistant professor at the Electrical Engineering department. His primary research areas of interest include statistical signal processing, estimation and detection theory, non-linear Bayesian filtering with applications to wireless positioning, navigation and communications.
