Other than Internet security and measurement research, I enjoy doing abstract art, cooking, running, and community service.

• Below is a sample of my art work (which was part of the WisNet lab at NUST during its years, and continues to be interpreted in different ways by various people).




• I co-founded GradApp Lab Pakistan, a volunteer effort to connect graduate school applicants from Pakistan with mentors abroad.
• I served as the co-president of WICSE (Women in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering) at UC Berkeley for 2012.
• I grew up in Pakistan, and went to NUST for my undergraduate studies, and UC Berkeley for my graduate studies. The longest I have lived in one town is Berkeley (seven years)!
