What Counts As An Educated
Individual in this Day and Age

FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT

In the current increasingly global, technological and conflict ridden society educated persons are not just the academically able but individuals who are capable of dealing with the problems they face in an ethically appropriate manner.  Hence, this two day conference aims to debate deep issues in education reform starting from key questions such as:

  •  What should be the aim of education? 

  •  What knowledge skills and understandings should the educated person of the day have?

  •  What key issues and challenges should the learners be prepared to face?

  •  What social, moral qualities should be inculcated among the young learners?

  • What enriching experiences should the young learners be provided with?

  • Any other

Venue: Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Lahore.

Registration Fee:  

Registration fee is Rs. 300/-. Number of participants is limited to 60 and registration is on first come first register basis (non-refundable/non-transferable). All participant must register in advance using the registration form.
